The stunning case is decorated with a subtle texture design and also features the iconic Statue of Liberty. Gifted to the United States by France on the centennial anniversary of U.S. independence, it was designed by Frédéric Auguste Bartholdi. The interior scaffolding was designed by Gustave Eiffel. While many people know this, few realize the Statue is not painted. The green hues on its surface are the result of the oxidation of the copper sheeting that covers the skin of the 305 foot statue.
